ReelFilm (reelfilm.site) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the service to do the same. We respond promptly to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and comparable laws.

Filing a copyright removal request

If you are a copyright owner (or an authorized agent) and believe that content available on ReelFilm infringes your copyright, send a written notice to [email protected] that includes all of the following:

Our removal process

Once we receive a complete and valid notice, we will review it promptly. If the notice is valid, we will remove or disable access to the reported material, typically within a few business days, and may notify the party responsible for the material. In repeat-infringement cases we reserve the right to remove additional content and take further action.

Counter-notification

If content you uploaded or licensed was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to [email protected] including the removed material's location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was erroneous, your contact details, and your physical or electronic signature. We may restore the material if the original claimant does not file a court action.

Abuse of this policy

Knowingly submitting false claims of infringement may expose you to liability for damages, including costs and legal fees, under the DMCA and other laws.
